The Ashburn Public Library in Loudoun County, one of the fastest growing counties in Virginia, functions as a multi-purpose community center and anchor for new neighborhoods surrounding the site. In addition to housing traditional library functions, the building offers meeting rooms, conference rooms, and flexible program spaces. A wide variety of children's functions are accommodated, including storytelling, puppet shows, and crafts. The building is sited facing south toward the main thoroughfare, maximizing the building's exposure to the surrounding community.
