2000 Tower Oaks Blvd

One of the World’s Greenest Buildings
Rockville, Maryland

We helped 2000 Tower Oaks Boulevard in Rockville, Maryland, become one of the first USGBC LEED® Platinum certified buildings in the D.C. Metro area. It is now considered one of the greenest buildings in the world and is featured in Jerry Yudelson's and Ulf Meyer's book, "The World's Greenest Buildings: Promise vs. Performance in Sustainable Design."

LEED® Platinum

one of the first certified in D.C. Metro area

We provided MEP design, construction administration, energy modeling, and LEED services for the 200,000-SF, nine-story office building, designing an energy-efficient low-temperature chilled water central plant and HVAC system. To maximize efficiency, the central chilled water system was optimized along with the air side systems that also utilized low temperatures and wide temperature differentials, lowering the client’s operating costs.
