Esri's Gold Tier Partnership

Dewberry has many diverse practice areas, ranging from transportation and environmental engineering to the design of buildings and landscapes. I know I’m biased, but one of our practices links us all geographically: Geographic Information System (GIS) technology is vital to our industry—not just to our 300 or more geospatial specialists but to all of Dewberry’s architects, engineers, and management consultants.

Firmwide, we are constantly driven to explore how to best serve our clients—providing solutions, support, resources, and new ideas. This mission, along with our need for the best possible GIS tools and geospatial information, is what has led Dewberry to a long and productive partnership with Esri, a worldwide leader in geospatial software.

My own relationship with Esri and its software products goes back more than 20 years, including the 12 years I’ve been with Dewberry. I currently serve on Esri’s U.S. Partner Advisory Council, which provides the opportunity to interact quarterly with Esri executives and other business partners. We receive updates on Esri’s new initiatives, explore collaborative strategies such as the Esri Partner Network, and provide feedback on programs and beta products.

Dewberry was one of the first engineering/architecture firms to sign an Esri Enterprise License Agreement (ELA). Our agreement enables all of our professionals to access Esri’s software products, ranging from core ArcGIS desktop products and extensions to the ArcGIS server, as well as their mobile solutions. Now, we’ve taken our commitment an important step further, by becoming an Esri Gold Tier Partner.

As a Gold Tier Partner, we’ll work even more closely with Esri, developing a common strategic plan within geospatial markets that serves the best interests of our clients. Many of our clients use the same products, and our relationship with Esri supports these clients through that platform, leveraging resources to help craft solutions that meet their business needs.

A small percentage of Esri’s partners meet the conditions for the Gold Tier level. It’s a reflection of our continued commitment to advanced technology, knowledge-sharing, and the best possible client service we can offer.
