Dewberry Opens Roanoke, Virginia, Office

Frank Moeller hired to expand mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services in Roanoke area.

Dewberry announced that it has opened a new office in Roanoke, Virginia, to serve clients in the region. The firm has also hired Frank Moeller, PE, LEED AP, to lead the office’s mechanical and electrical engineering projects.  

Dewberry’s long-term presence in Virginia spans more than 60 years, with existing offices in Danville, Virginia Beach, Gainesville, Leesburg, Richmond, and Fairfax. The Roanoke office’s primary function is to support projects and clients in southern and central Virginia.

Moeller joins the firm as a mechanical department discipline manager, providing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) technical and project leadership for clients in the Roanoke area, including those in the education, healthcare, and private sectors. He joins the firm having spent nearly 30 years practicing mechanical engineering for building systems across various markets.

Moeller states, “I’m excited to have joined the team at Dewberry where I’ll be able to meet with clients face-to-face and understand their challenges and difficulties as they relate to the comfort and reliability of their building systems.”

Moeller graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (1989), and earned a Construction Documents Technologist certification from the Construction Specifications Institute (1994). He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE).

The new office is located at 2109 Crystal Spring Avenue Southwest, Suite B, Roanoke, VA 24014-2413.
