Dewberry has announced the promotions of more than 65 employees nationwide, including five staff members within the firm’s corporate departments in Fairfax, Virginia. The promotions coincide with Dewberry’s ongoing expansion of engineering, architectural, and consulting services in the D.C. metropolitan region, where the firm has practiced since 1956.

In Dewberry’s Fairfax offices, promotions include:

  • Dave Francis, CCEP, has been promoted to Chief Compliance and Human Resources Officer. He earned a master’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina (1993), a master’s equivalent in nuclear engineering and power plant operations from the Naval Nuclear Power School (1984), and a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech (1982). Francis is a member of the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics (SCCE), and the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
  • Jay Norton, Sean Reney, MCSE, and Brenda Tudge have been promoted to associate vice president. Norton is the firm’s director of pricing, and a member of the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM), the National Contract Management Association, and Toastmasters International. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from George Mason University (1998). Reney is the director of the firm’s IT operations and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Tudge is the firm’s corporate director of benefits and a member of WorldatWork. She holds several certifications—HR Generalist from SHRM, project management and negotiating skills, and DiSC certification.
  • Sarah Vucci, CCEP, has been promoted to associate. Vucci is a legal and compliance specialist who earned a bachelor’s degree from George Mason University (2008). She is a member of the National Notary Association and the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics.
