Dewberry announced that Marybeth Morin, PE, has been promoted to associate in the
firm’s Orlando, Florida, office.
A transportation and bridge structures engineer,
Morin has more than 20 years of experience in structural design and is
responsible for the project management and quality control of bridge projects
from preliminary to final design. These projects include minor grade
separations, water crossings, and multi-level interchanges. Morin’s expertise
includes alternatives development and design for a wide variety of bridge types,
including Florida I-Beam girders, precast-prestressed slab units,
post-tensioned precast concrete u-girders, and steel I-girders. She served as a
senior structural engineer on the $46-million Wekiva Parkway Section 2 project for
the Central Florida Expressway Authority, and as the engineer of record for
many notable projects, including the Poinciana Parkway, John Young Parkway over
Sand Lake Road Bridge, and State Road 417 widening.
Morin earned a bachelor’s degree in civil
engineering from the University of Central Florida (1996), and is a
professional engineer in Florida and North Carolina. She is also a member of Women’s
Transportation Seminar (WTS).
