Dewberry is pleased to announce the promotions of Brian Bradner, PE, to vice president, and Elizabeth Scarce to marketing director for the firm's southeast engineering division. Both employees are based in the firm's Danville, Virginia, office.

Bradner has been with the firm for more than two decades, is a leader within the firm's site/civil service line, and serves as Dewberry's client manager for multiple Fortune 500 clients. Additionally, as branch manager of the Danville office, he oversees a staff of nearly 40 individuals representing numerous services, including architecture, civil engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting. Bradner's expertise includes strategic planning, economic development, management of complex industrial and commercial projects, and land use planning for major industrial properties with a specific focus on North Carolina and Virginia.

Bradner earned a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University (1994) and is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states.

Scarce, who has been in the industry and with the firm for more than 25 years, is responsible for implementing strategies and marketing plans for the division, which includes more than 500 professionals across six states. Her expertise includes strategy development and leading complex, multi-faceted pursuits and proposals. During her time with Dewberry, Scarce has been heavily involved in major pursuits and company-wide initiatives, including efforts to expand the firm's role in the growing energy market segment.

Scarce earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Elon University (1991).
