Dewberry announced that Justin Slack, PE, and Matthew Tilden, have been promoted to associate in the firm's Boston, Massachusetts, office.

Slack has nearly 14 years' experience and has been with Dewberry for 10 years. As a project manager for the transportation group, he performs bridge design, bridge ratings, and bridge and tunnel inspections. He recently served as project manager for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation's Metropolitan Highway System Tunnel Inspection contract and Statewide Bridge Inspection contract. Both projects spanned across Massachusetts.

In addition to holding a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University (2003), Slack is a professional engineer in Connecticut and New Hampshire and a professional structural engineer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

With more than a decade of experience in telecommunications, Tilden's expertise lies in the design of telecommunications facilities throughout the New England area. His role in the design of these facilities involves on-site analyses of existing building, tower, and water tank conditions; coordination of field surveys and structural analyses; preparation of lease exhibits, zoning, and final construction drawings; post-construction inspections; and project alignment with zoning and environmental regulations and building codes. Tilden is currently the project manager for various telecommunications sites, supporting macro small cell, site upgrades, and distributed antenna system programs.

Tilden earned a bachelor's degree in engineering and management from Clarkson University (1997).
