Dewberry announced that Augusto Molina, PE, LEED AP, has joined the New York City office as the bridge structures department manager and Leon Ostrovsky, PE, has been named a senior project manager.

Augusto Molina will manage bridge structures services in the metropolitan area. With more than 25 years of experience in transportation engineering and project management, his expertise includes the inspection, design, and construction of railroad and highway bridges, with a concentration in complex and long-span bridges and design-build projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Molina was a principal project and structures manager at a top design firm. He served as lead engineer for the Goethals Bridge Replacement in New York and New Jersey; the Tacoma Narrows suspension bridge in Tacoma, Washington; the Autoroute 25 Main Bridge Crossing in Montreal, Canada; and as a construction-support engineer for the new Carquinez Straits suspension bridge in Vallejo, California.

Molina earned his master's degree in structural engineering from University of Tennessee and his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Villanova University. He is a professional engineer in New Jersey and New York and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction and the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Leon Ostrovsky joins Dewberry's civil transportation group with 19 years of experience in designing and leading highway, street, and site development projects. His design experience includes developing highways, streets, and multi-use path alignments using 3-D modeling; preparation of contract highway plans and profiles; highway hydraulic analysis and drainage design; utilities relocation; and utility agency coordination.

Before joining Dewberry, Ostrovsky served as a deputy director of design and worked on the reconstruction of Westbourne Drive in Queens, New York; the replacement of Bruckner Expressway over Westchester Creek in the Bronx, New York; and provided design-build management for New York State Department of Transportation design-build projects.

Ostrovsky earned his master's degree in transportation planning and engineering from Polytechnic Institute of New York University and his bachelor's degree in highway design from Lviv Polytechnic National University in Lviv, Ukraine. He is a professional engineer in New York and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
