Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has hired Rishi Immanni, PE, GISP, as a senior project manager in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia, office.

Immanni will be working on utility infrastructure projects related to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). With more than 14 years of experience, Immanni is an expert in utility infrastructure asset management, master planning, and GIS, bridging the gap between traditional engineering services and technology.

Prior to joining Dewberry, Immanni has worked with many small and large utilities in the southeastern U.S. providing consulting services in master planning, hydraulic modeling, asset managements, and GIS. Most recently he worked with the Atlanta Department of Watershed Management in Georgia, where he provided business risk assessment for water system asset management, as well as assistance on the Capacity Management Operation and Maintenance Program for Orange County Utilities. He is currently leading the field data collection for the pump station asset inventory management project for the Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources in Atlanta, Georgia.

Immanni earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Central Florida, his master’s degree in civil engineering and GIS from the University of New Mexico, and his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Gulbarga University in Karnataka, India. He is a GIS professional and registered professional engineer in New Mexico, Florida, and Georgia. He is a member of the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation Utility Management Committee, and the Georgia Association of Water Professionals Asset Management Master Planning Committee.
