A Message from CEO Donald E. Stone, Jr. Regarding COVID-19

To our clients: 

Prioritizing the safety of our clients, communities, and team members, while continuing to provide support to our clients and their projects’ needs, remains paramount to our business.  

We are carefully analyzing and taking the necessary steps to continue to support our clients and their projects’ needs while prioritizing everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. To reaffirm this commitment, I’ve asked all of our project and client managers to pick up the phone and call our clients to discuss our continued availability, discuss strategy for continued operations on their behalf, and open a dialogue about what their biggest challenges are and how we can assist. I’ve heard great feedback from many of our project and client managers about their conversations and expect more of our clients to be contacted in the coming weeks. 

As we track this dynamic COVID-19 situation, I wanted to share some of the safety and continuity of operation measures Dewberry has put into place: 

  • Communication – Your Dewberry primary point of contact will contact you or your team periodically to coordinate any upcoming critical work items.
  • Collaboration – If not already in place, your Dewberry point of contact will coordinate regular check-in points so you have transparency on status of your work products.
  • Thinking Ahead – We have proactively secured adequate software licenses ahead of deadlines and additional hardware for continued connectivity.
  • Readiness – The majority of our team members have laptops, secure VPN, and high-speed internet access with the ability and experience to work remotely.
  • Safety and Preparedness – Our Crisis Management Team has been meeting regularly to provide guidance and support to our employees, in alignment with the CDC’s recommendations and taking into account state and local directives.
  • Transparency and Strategy – We will continue to monitor state and local review agency status, backlog for review times, permits, etc., and push out information updates as appropriate.

As new developments arise, we will continue to adapt our strategy to remain flexible for our clients and will work towards the best possible solutions for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our clients, communities, and employees.
