A former rail line, the Bloomingdale Trail is being developed into a three-mile-long elevated park that runs through the heart of Chicago, connecting neighborhoods, the river, and other city parks.
PSA-Dewberry's Chicago office recently participated in a design opportunity in conjunction with the Bloomingdale Trail Collaborative and the Chicago Architectural Foundation: Envisioning the Bloomingdale. The current exhibition presents early visions for the elevated park, which will soon emerge as a beacon to the communities it connects.
As a collection of conceptual pieces from architects and planners to artists and kids, this exhibit displays the possibilities for Bloomingdale Trail’s future. Please visit the project website to learn more about its history: http://www.bloomingdaletrail.org.

Three renderings for the Bloomingdale Trail by PSA-Dewberry were recently included in the design exhibit "Envisioning the Bloomingdale."
