| | Vincent Place Stormwater Pumping Station
Borough of Teterboro, New Jersey
Dewberry designed the consolidation of three aging stormwater pumping stations and their open drainage ditches and wet wells into one robust facility—while making way for much-needed residential and open space in a congested community. The project provides greatly improved stormwater management in both the community and the adjacent Teterboro Airport. A complex series of permits were obtained from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. |

| | Knoll Pumping Station
Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey The Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills was long plagued by a water shortage with no easy solutions. Dewberry worked with the Township to develop an innovative long-term solution—construct a pumping station to tie into an existing reservoir owned by others and enable the Township to “bank” water for withdrawl during peak periods providing a cutting-edge, sustainable choice for the future. In addition to typical permits, permitting for this project needed to address the fact that the pumping station is located on a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Green Acres property. |
