Double Day Babcock Senior Center

Dewberry's work on this project included structural and geotechnical engineering. Structural modifications included the addition of an entrance vestibule, skylights, stairs, elevator and the design of support for new roof-top mechanical equipment.

Dewberry provided full structural design and construction phase services that involved the installation of a new elevator and two high speed escalators.

Long Beach Waterfront Park
Long Beach, NY
Dewberry provided structural and geotechnical engineering services for the design of a new waterfront park for the City of Long Beach. Included in the project were a new 1,500-foot steel bulkhead, a new boat launching ramp, approximately 850 feet of new timber boardwalk, a new park building, a new fishing pier, and various site and recreational improvements.

PATH Consolidated Maintenance Facility at C&D Yard
Jersey City, NJ
Dewberry provided civil and structural engineering services for the new maintenance building, which included connecting track to facilitate car maintenance and a moveable overhead crane. The building was constructed in an active railroad yard that remained fully operational during construction.

Harrisburg International Airport - Aircraft Maintenance Hangar
Harrisburg, PA
Dewberry designed the 52,050-square-foot steel-framed structure to accommodate high aircraft rudders without sacrificing functional and operational efficiency. Other features of the project included specialized equipment shops, fire detection and suppression systems, efficient lighting, heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems, all utilities, and the entrance apron pavement.

Rahway Railway Station Rehabilitation
Rahway, NJ
Dewberry provided geotechnical, civil/structural engineering and surveying services for the construction phase of this project. Improvements included rehabilitation of a pedestrian tunnel, railroad bridge modifications, two elevators, canopies, island and side platforms.
