Wellness Text

Providing a complete range of services for the design and development of fitness, wellness and recreation centers is the mission of PSA-Dewberry. We can begin with a complete needs assessment, and continue with a comprehensive market feasibility analysis, financial proforma, and a business plan. This assessment allows for the development of a facility of optimal size that fulfills the client's specific needs respectful of local demographics, owner goals, budget, and schedule.

Our architects, designers and engineers work collaboratively to produce a facility that meets all the client's needs. When planning a fitness center, we embrace the concept of the open plan.  Upon entering the facility, one can see or get a glimpse of all the activities the center has to offer. Given the volumes of space and economies of scale, we take advantage of the use of natural light penetrating the interior space wherever possible. Natural light and strategically placed views to the exterior enhance people's positive attitudes toward exercise and affect their eventual outcome and experience. PSA-Dewberry's wellness and fitness facilities are designed to not only help the human body recover or improve but also uplift the patron's mind and spirit as well.
