Navigating a Maze of NYC Utilities
For more than 10 years, we have been providing “on-call” engineering services for the Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) to review New York City Department of Design and Construction contract plans for street, sewer, and water main utility projects throughout New York City. Through these contracts we identify potential interferences between proposed infrastructure work and Con Edison subsurface and overhead facilities. In the event of interference, we develop plans, details, quantity take-offs, and specifications to relocate or support underground electric ducts, gas, and steam mains.
